Nandrolone (Deca-Durabolin)(HARMFUL)
A 19-nortestosterone anabolic steroid (commonly the decanoate ester, "Deca"), used medically for anemia and wasting and widely abused for slow, steady muscle mass and joint comfort.

Why it is abused: steady lean-mass gains, improved recovery, and relief of training-related joint pain. Not an endorsement of non-medical use.
Risks
Marked and sometimes long-lasting testosterone suppression, sexual dysfunction, gynecomastia, adverse cardiovascular and lipid effects, mood changes, and loss of fertility. Prescription-only; banned in sport.
