Ostarine (MK-2866)(HARMFUL)
A selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) taken for muscle gain and preservation with the aim of fewer androgenic side effects than steroids. Not approved for human use.
Benefits
Why it is abused: lean-mass gain and muscle preservation while cutting, promoted as "steroid-like results with fewer side effects." Human evidence is limited and it is unapproved.
Risks
Suppresses natural testosterone and adversely affects lipids and the liver, with cardiovascular risk; products are frequently mislabeled or contaminated. FDA-warned and banned in sport.
